My baby's a'comin!

And we're at the hospital waiting for her! So maybe she isn't exactly my baby. But she is my niece and that is the closest I'm going to get to having my own baby for a looooong time!

Jacqueline is doing great! She answered that age old question: To epi, or not to epi? Her answer was: EPI! When we got here she was laboring without the epidural and it was amazing how much more relaxed she was as soon as she got the epidural. She even said the pain from the needle was way better than the contractions. So far everything is going well. I'll be back soon to post pictures.

:) This is just so surreal and so exciting!

Scenes from Jacqueline's baby shower

Isn't this pram cute? Matt got it from someone he worked for recently. Matt and Jacqueline aren't sure how much use they will get out of it, but it is very pretty! So is this! And they know they will get lots of use out of this! Matt's dad, Ben, made this himself. Isn't it beautiful?
We used them to hold gifts during the shower. It was like a sea of pinkness...baby girls are so fun!
All the food...
Like my cupcake tower? I bought one and mom bought one. I love mine! I think I will get a lot of use out of it in the future. Unless I really go on a hardcore diet, which I should do!

It was beautiful!

New on my knitting needles

'Nuff said. :)

Puppy love

I finally went out and spent some time with those rascals and got a few pictures of them. They are very hard to photograph! I had to lighten almost all of these pictures just so you could see their faces!

It was such a nice day outside we got to just hang out together and 'visit.' I don't spend a lot of time with these three, but they are sweet. And a little bit feisty too! They will untie your shoes for you if you have shoe laces. :)

Happy Valentines day!

Yeah, it's March 1st. I know I'm late in posting these photos. That's okay with me though. :)

These are flowers from this weekend. The shower flowers. Aren't they gorgeous? They weren't for Valentine's day, but they look like they could be, so I'm going to leave them up and we can pretend they were for Valentines day. This is what I got from my dad. :) He says he isn't into Hallmark holidays, but I think he really is. Either that or he's into chocolate.
This is what he got my mom. Very pretty huh? It was good too. It's from a local chocolatier who apparently has a huge online store that is popular throughout the USA.

Happy (late) Valentines day (or Single's Awareness Day...whichever you prefer).
